Norms
Now a days the society have a wrong understanding of what is a norm, a norm according with the Cambridge diccionario is “ an accepted standard or a way of behavoring or doing things that most people agree with“ the norms are mainly divided into three very different categories the first is social norms then legal norms and religious norms, This is how we keep society functioning, not just with direct rules but also expectations.
The religious norms are the norms that the religions make to tell how the people should behave in religious terms in a ceremony, ritual or in the daily life, there are norms that we could think are religious but there not like religion because having a religion is a social norm and with the religion more norms this time religious norms come.
Social norms are all the norms that if you brake the society will tell your a bad person but if you follow it perfectly you are going to look like a very handsome, smart and a good person, Norms can change according to the environment, situation, and culture in which they are found, and people's behavior will also change accordingly.
Legal norms are the ones that most of the times we see on street signs like the speed limit or the no swim, this are norms that change depend on your country’s government and keep our society functioning, without those society would go on a distopia making life much difficult than what already is, there is a difference between a norm and a law that most people don’t understand , While the norm is the general rule, by which the principles of moral conduct and legally accepted before society are governed. The law is the written, formalized and detailed norm that protects the faculty of an individual and obliges in the strict sense to be complied with.
