In Mexico City, a march was organized on Women's Day to raise awareness of all the girls and women who have been murdered or disappeared in the last year in Mexico, more than 1,000 have disappeared and almost 3,000 have been murdered. I support these types of marches as long as they are peaceful and in order to raise awareness in society of the specific issue for which the march was organized, it is impressive that more than 80,000 women gathered on the same day in the streets of La Mexico City to protest about the situation they have been having to live in Mexico for many years.
